Madagascar E-tourism Project Country and region: Madagascar, Africa Region Project date: 11/27/2006 Client: World Bank, IFC WHL Consulting worked with the IFC-Madagascar office and the World Bank’s PIC program to develop the first online e-commerce portals for the travel industry in Madagascar. Three destinations sites were selected: Antananarivo and Central Madagascar, Nosy Be in the Northern Region and Fort Dauphin in the South. The project hopes to spur more travel to Madagascar and diversify the product offering.
