MIF STC Market Access ExpertCountry and region: Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean RegionProject date: 4/21/2009 Client: MIF Zachary Rozga was invited to attend and present at the annual Multilateral Investment Fund Sustainable Tourism Cluster meeting hosted by La Ruta Tequila Organization in Tequila, Mexico April 21-24, 2009. The invitation was presented to Zachary as a precursor to a large 3-year project that WHL and WHL Consulting will be starting in the middle of 2009. The pilot project will feature four pilot implementations of the WHL Consulting Market Access Program in the Bahamas, Brazil, Guatemala and an implementation in Tequila, Mexico. Zachary presented the concepts of market access versus marketing and the challenges MSMEs face in the developing world to be able to connect to regional and global distribution channels. Zachary also provided one-on-one consultation with a number of the cluster coordinators to discuss how market access could be improved in each of their projects. Back to projects list |
