Project Scoping Studies

In many cases WHL Consulting has been asked to undertake a short assignment in the destination of interest to undertake a field-based scoping study to enable the development partners to appropriately resource a market access project. Depending on the size of a destination the scoping study can take from 4 days to 2 weeks.

For example, in one such scoping study for a project we undertook for the IFC in the West Balkans, our team spent 2 weeks in the region visiting four countries, meeting with industry leaders, public sector role players and with a variety of SMEs.

Development Project Design and Strategy Creation
 
WHL Consulting’s focus is in developing solutions for assisting a destination to grow or for helping SMEs in a destination to gain more clients. Very often these interventions are part of larger development projects that require donor support and many of the concepts are very new to project managers and designers.
