Scoping, Content Collection and Audit of Tourism MSMEs around Livingstone

WHL Consulting worked with the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Environment and Tourism’s Support for Economic Expansion and Diversification project in Livingstone, Zambia. The project is a full implementation of the WHL Consulting SME Market Access Program including a Full Market Readiness Assessment of all the Accommodation Providers in Livingstone and Kafue National Park; A Content Collection Exercise with renowned Africa photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks; Non-traditional Tour Product Development with local tour operators Euma Tours and African Wild Trails; and finally two seperate Market Access Training Seminars. The project started in May 2008 and ened in December January 2009.

The capstone of the project is development of a whl.travel portal with the local partner, Wildside Tours: http://www.victoriafallszambia.travel and http://www.safari-kafue-zambia.travel.
